Yay!!! Another NHL post season begins! For those in Canada who are NOT hockey fans it means another stretch of TV with nothing else on but HOCKEY EVERYWHERE! And for those Stateside it means....well nothing really as the postseason will come and go without much notice... a pity considering the Stanley Cup has spent the past year in Raleigh!!
I remember the days that a Canucks playoff game meant pizza, beer and watching the whole thing, even those triple OT games, from opening faceoff to post game analysis. Now...I get glimpses here and there or have to catch what I can from listening to the game being watched downstairs, while upstairs I have to keep switching back to Treehouse! "This is daddy's show, mommy. This show is for boys, not girls" Jaida said. Of course I had to explain that girls play and watch hockey too but do you think that had any impact?
So, now Canucks are well into the second OT. Phil's probably asleep since he just getting off his work week and was fading last time I checked in. (wish I could say the same for Jaida, by the way!) And I have managed to escape briefly to....AHHCH! there's Jaida calling for me! Hope the game goes into a 3rd OT!
